8 Canning Street, North Melbourne

To safely maintain the heritage frontage of the dwelling whilst incorporating a modern, functional and aesthetically pleasing addition to the rear.  The specification for the modern addition was to have minimal walls, cantilevered structural components and exposed stairs.  Every piece of structure became part of the architectural design so attention to detail was critical.

We worked closely with the Architect to develop a team approach and to achieve the desired form.
